The original PlayStation had a reputation as an RPG machine, but when people think of Konami's games for that console, they probably associate the company with stealth action or hunting vampires. Yet Konami achieved great success with a game that, despite its Japanese title, found an audience around the world.
This week, host Jeremy Parish along with Retronauts regulars Nadia Oxford and Kevin Bunch to talk about the first Suikoden given its recent HD re-release. Also, unlike our past Suikoden podcasts, we're only talking about the original game this time around—the sequels can wait.
Description: Jeremy Parish, Kevin Bunch, and Nadia Oxford may not be able to change fate, but they can certainly weigh in on Konami's PS1 RPG classic Suikoden and its place in history after revisiting the game through the recent HD remaster.
