In 1992, Mortal Kombat was a big deal. Its sequels raised the bar even further, even if the third entry showed some growing pains. No one doubted there would be a fourth Mortal Kombat, they merely wondered when it might arrive and what it might look like.
Indeed, Mortal Kombat 4 arrived at the end of 1997, alongside a spinoff title and a second motion picture. Unfortunately, none of these three releases quite recaptured the magic of their predecessors!
Once again, Diamond Feit, Stuart Gipp, and Long Live Mortal Kombat author David L. Craddock reconvene to discuss this very active, very divisive era of Mortal Kombat. What happened? Who stood out amongst the new additions to the roster? And why does Shujinko, a character nowhere to be seen in the 90s, come up so often in this podcast? You must press play to find out.
Description: Digitized no more, Diamond Feit, Stuart Gipp, and David L. Craddock enter a new dimension as they podcast about Mortal Kombat 4.
