Retronauts Episode 723: Tokyo Game Show 2025
a.k.a. Toomany Guests Show

While you can argue its relevance has fluctuated over time, the Tokyo Game Show remains a barometer of the video game industry. This year, with a brand-new console on the market, the organizers put on the largest exhibition in the show's history which filled every nook and cranny of the Makuhari Messe convention center.
Diamond Feit braved crowded trains and latent summer heat to check out TGS 2025, but this week's episode is no solo experience. Joining Diamond with their own perspectives on this year's offerings are returning guests John Linneman and Richard Eisenbeis.
But wait there's more! Whilst in Japan's capital city, Diamond also dropped by the offices of Hamster Corporation for an interview with CEO Satoshi Hamada about the company's origins and the strategy behind their ongoing Arcade Archives series.
Description: Diamond Feit reports from the largest Tokyo Game Show ever and interviews Hamster CEO Satoshi Hamada about the Arcade Archives series of classic game rereleases.
