Nintendo has accumulated a healthy stable of beloved characters in their long, long history, but one of them stands apart from all the others. He doesn't stand tall, because he's quite short, but he's unlike all of his peers.
I'm talking of course about Kirby, the enigmatic life form who has limbs and is assigned a gender but we don't really understand anything else about him. Is he ageless? Weightless? Does his ability to absorb the powers of others have limits?
We are but humble podcasters so we cannot provide conclusive answers to these deep questions, but rest assured, this episode features Jeremy Parish, Stuart Gipp, Henry Gilbert, and Retronauts supporter Andrew Oliveira exploring what makes Kirby so very, very good.
