Ninjas need no introduction, but Shinobi might; Sega's series of less-than-stealthy action platformers will celebrate its 40th anniversary soon but those four decades include a fair amount of downtime. Then again, perhaps that's precisely what the various ninja protagonists of the franchise want you to think!
We (Stuart Gipp, Diamond Feit, and Thomas Ni©kel) tackled the arcade origins and initial console releases of Shinobi back in January, but this time we're back to cover the rest of the games. We're also joined by John Linneman who missed our first recording due to illness—or perhaps that too was a ninja deception!
