Pretend the TurboGrafx-16 Mini arrived on time with Episode 287
On some other earth, the one in the Good Timeline, we're all playing Snatcher in Japanese.
Well, so. When we recorded this episode a couple of months ago, there was going to be a TurboGrafx-16 Mini console launch this week. It looks like preorders in Japan still showed up on time, but everyone else is, as they say, S-O-L. Logistical and manufacturing shutdown issues in China during the country's pandemic shutdown played heck with the latest Mini console.
Poor TurboGrafx. This was ever its lot in life.
But just because things didn't go as planned for the Mini doesn't mean they have to be totally upended here on the podcast! We've continued with our planned podcasting schedule, which means this week we are talking about TurboGrafx-16! And now you will be prepped for... whenever the heck the Mini launches.
Thanks once again to Greg Leahy for his adept edits, and to Shaan Khan for the artwork.
