Retronauts 356: Years In Review Revue: 1991

Remember when the 1970s were just 30 years ago? Times have changed.

Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Super Bowl XXV. The Silence of the Lambs. These are only a few major cultural events of 30 years ago - none of which come up in this episode of Retronauts, because this is a video game podcast (mostly)!

Following up their thorough discussion of 1971/1981, the Retronauts East crew of Jeremy, Benj Edwards, Ben Elgin, and Chris Sims recount the major topics of 1991 as quickly as they can, though the year was a big one in gaming so a lot of major topics go under-discussed. But don't worry, I promise there's a calendar of anniversaries we're consulting behind the scenes and the heavy-duty stuff will surely get their own episodes before the year is out...probably.

Description: The Retronauts East team gets together to continue their conversation about the games of a few decades ago. This time, Jeremy Parish, Benj Edwards, Chris Sims, and Ben Elgin focus specifically on the year 1991, when a bit of video game history was made.
